JAKARTA: Visit by President of the United States, Mr. Barack Obama, the two adjourned to Indonesia seems to
be continued after the flight to Jakarta for a week to recover after a disruption due to the explosion of Mount Merapi.
Sunday U.S. officials say they monitor the state visit by Mr. Obama today.

Mr. Obama postpone his visit to Indonesia twice - first in March when he wanted to present the draft health reform and the second in June following the oil spill at BP exploration platforms in the Gulf of Mexico.

White House spokesman, Robert Gibbs, said yesterday morning, U.S. officials are monitoring the situation closely but the airline will "continue with plans to travel to Indonesia '.

Indonesian Foreign Affairs Minister, Mr Marty Natalegawa, said yesterday that Indonesia would show positive change and the potential of that country during his visit to Jakarta, Mr. Obama, because of the visit will attract the attention of the international community.

'Apart from her, the visit of President Obama would focus attention on Indonesia. This is an opportunity to highlight the achievements of this country include the potential economic, democratic reforms and leadership in the regional forum, "he said.
